To compare the 2 at this stage of the careers is ******.

Cotto is in physically better shape that Marquez and is younger. Cotto's last fight he fought the guy regarded now as the guy that can beat the most feared fighter and boxing, and he gave him a challenge in a close fight with out getting knocked down.

Cotto's going out on his terms and he has already said 2 more fights and he is out.

Both aren't relevant at world level, Cotto isn't beating GGG or Canelo at 160, Charlo or Lara at 154 or Spence and Thurman at 147.
Neither is relevant but both are trying to stay relevant with fights that didn't happened and both are looking to cash out, beating Kamegai doesn't makes you a top 10 fighter in a hungry division, boxing is moving on and since neither are getting to world class level and they are only looking to cash out and trying to stay relevant only on articles and not fights, I think it is a fair comparison.

Marquez is my favorite fighter and Id like too see him fight more but unfortunately, his body isnt working like it used to. He needs to retire cuz frankly im annoyed of all these delays. Just move on

User name has nothing to do with what I saw when Cotto fought Canelo. I saw a guy that gave a prime Canelo 12 rounds of a close fight. Thats all.
