Marquez won't even make it through training without injuring himself.

He might need to consider retirement. Or a soft, farewell fight in Mexico. I hate seeing old legends hang on too long and get their asses kicked by younger, but less talented fighters.

Cotto and Marquez, please retire, i know that if i was a successful boxer on the way out I wouldn't mind a cash out fight for a couple of millions, but they are trying so hard to stay relevant but it is impossible, boxing is in constant movement, with great young fighters on the rise and at half year this is already one of the best years in boxing in a long time so fans wouldn't lose their minds for them.
Fan of both, atg's and future hall of famers but there are only a few boxers in history bigger than boxing.

To compare the 2 at this stage of the careers is ******.

Cotto is in physically better shape that Marquez and is younger. Cotto's last fight he fought the guy regarded now as the guy that can beat the most feared fighter and boxing, and he gave him a challenge in a close fight with out getting knocked down.

Cotto's going out on his terms and he has already said 2 more fights and he is out.

Exactly, Look at his other opponents that were his best wins. Katsidis, Diaz twice, Chris John Loss, without Pac his career is nothing. Castillo had a far better career yet he's forgotten. Makes no sense.

Castillo was more of a warrior and didn't play the safe route and complain about decisions and he didn't lose every second of his fight with Floyd. He took Floyd to the limit and yet he's forgotten.

Without the Back Acne KO of Pac Marquez would be even more irrelevant. I've never seen a fighter so blatantly on roids with all the physical evidence than this guy.
