You know what...as much **** as I've given Broner over the years, I gotta give him A LOT of credit for stepping up and taking on this challenge. Mikey's not a guy that a lot of people wanna see right now, and bottom line is AB signed on the dotted line for it.

      Respect where respect is due

fat round Broner is laughed at and despised and loathed de****able

Felon disrespectful felony shot gun Broner is a walking police report with a rap sheet longer than Broners fat daddy's waist line.
Broner is a hated despised mini thug awaiting a violent end to a misspent life time of ****** thuggery and misdeeds.

I think what really hurt him in the eyes of boxing fans was when he ducked the post-fight interview after the Maidana whoopin'. He might be looked at different today had he manned up and showed some humility in defeat. Huge missed opportunity.
does he? looked like he was out of his depth against porter and maidana, and msot think he lost to ponce de leon. i dont know how this myth of him being some underachiever with great skills is still being perpetuated. he was never any good. his feet are slow, defense heavily overrated and his counter punching is poor. hes a long way from world class.

I'm not here to cheerlead for Broner, but why would you say the guy doesn't have real skills? The guy has shown real flashes of brilliance a'la Zab Judah, but has always lacked in mental preparation/fortitude. He doesn't have bad footwork - he just believes too much of his own bullshit, thus he doesn't use his footwork as he should, instead relying on a poor man's version of the Mayweather shoulder roll that he simply can't pull off successfully. If he is a "long way from world class", what is world class to you? On a planet of BILLIONS of people and millions of men who engage in the sport of boxing, there is just a handful that weigh 140-147 pounds that can beat the man.
