Coming from a Pacquiao fan I can admit that Team Pacquiao just don't want it. The whole "he don't draw" thing is bull****. If they saw Terence as a very winnable fight they'd do it. And I fully believe that Arum is ready to feed Pacquiao to him, because it would catapult Crawford to new heights. But Team Pacquiao knows that a squarely in his prime Terence Crawford is bad, bad news for Manny.

Team Pacquiao knows it, and they're avoiding it, so ole Bob is content to continue milking Manny against gimmick (the gimmick is the gate money in Brisbane), circus side show fights with guys like Jeff Horn.

What is wrong with you guys?is that very hard for you to leave manny cash out before he retire? I get it that he's old or whatever, but that's not really an excuse. He has a title at 147, he is ranked as #1 on many people's divisional lists, and he is on many people's P4P lists. I don't overlook him as far as his talent goes, but you are only as good as your next opponent. Bradley 3, Vargas, and Horn are unacceptable. People are defending the Horn fight because of his ranking in WBO. He got that ranking when he signed with Arum. He signed with Arum, fought Funeka, and then became WBO mandatory. Ridiculous. Also, sighting boxrec rankings is just putrid. He has shown nothing to indicate that he is near top 10 WW rankings. This is a crap fight, but I genuinely hope that Australia enjoys it. Hopefully, the fight will grow the sport.

its funny how now that spence has come out and said a few nice words about manny, the very same posters who was trashing pac is now saying pac is not done yet, cant be overlooked, etc. but these are the same posters who were saying pac is done, will get knocked out again, etc. just a few weeks ago! lol

I get that boxrec ain't gospel and it's FAR from f**king perfect, but it's really the only unbiased rating system that exists for this sport. In fact isn't that **** done by some sort of formula? Anyways if you got something better in which to use, then by all means, Eddie.

Most guys dont waste their time because they know damn well Arum wont make the fights. He wont even put him in the ring with Crawford for the last two years and Crawford has a long-term contract with Arum.

why would he put crawford in with manny 2 years ago?

arum is all about business, pac and crawford is being promoted by him, both are arum's top guys right now. he can still make money off of manny's name so why would he be in a hurry to make pac vs crawford?

if crawford loses to pac then it will be hard to built crawford's name up, and if pac loses to crawford then arum wont be able to milk pac for whatever he can get. so why would be ruin this for? he's gonna make the fight when the time is right.

he can still make money off of manny, the fight will happen once manny is completely done. then that's when we'll get pac vs crawford and depending on how the fight goes we might even see a rematch.

Hey bud it pains me deeply, believe me. I'm a huge Manny fan. Always have been, always will be. I hate criticizing the guy. And I know that he's on the doorstep of 40, and what he has accomplished in the sport of boxing is absolutely mind boggling. I also understand not wanting to throw him in as food to the lion's den of some of the best prime fighters in the sport today. But there's gotta be a happy medium somewhere...and Jeff Horn ain't it, lol.

How long are they gonna wait, though? Dude is already bordering on 39 years old. They're gonna get his ass killed. Not that Bob gives a f**k. For him it'll be like putting an old once proud horse out to pasture. Fact is manny is almost 39. He has every boxing accolade was boxer of the decade, hell hes champ now, he is in the business of cashing out.

If manny can make as much for fighting jeff horn in Australia, than he can make fighting Spence here, what's the point of fighting Spence. It's not like he lives here and has to look loyal boxing fans in the face, he is perhaps the most popular Filipino of all time ever! Why risk these young lions when u get the same payday for a pup.
