People are not overlooking Pacquiao, they just don't expect him to fight Thurman. When the titles were held by DSG, Thurman, Brook, and Vargas, Pacquiao chose Vargas. That's not what the people wanted. Even now, Roach is saying Crawford doesn't have a name, he would rather Danny Garcia. That's not what the fans want to hear. When DSG was undefeated, that would've been fine, now that he lost, Crawford is the man! If Pacquiao wants to stay relevant, he fights Crawford, Thurman, or Spence Jr.!Comment

Pacquiao is the best fighter of the last 20 years, he is a lightweight fighting at welter where he is ridiculously outsized and at age 39 as a congressman he still fights whoever is put in front of him as long he is getting paid. It's not really his fault that Crawford cant draw **** to flies and the fight isnt bigger yet. Him vs Horn sold out quickly, over 30k tix and its his mandatory. Did Danny Garcia want to fight Manny? No. Did Broner want to fight Manny? Not even Thurman or any of the top welters mentioned Manny when he was looking for an opponent, of course Spence had Brook lined up and Thurman was about to face Garcia, and the PBC fighters are extremely inactive anyway.
As far as i am concerned Manny is still the top fighter at 147 and by a huge margin the biggest draw.Comment
