Sucker punching is just straight up b1tch ****.
It has some cultural elements as well, often viewed differently within certain demographics.
In the ****** it perfectly acceptable, even admired, but elsewhere it is viewed with the contempt and disgust it deserves.Comment

Floyd lacks class. It's one thing to win at all costs and u can't argue he's got one of the best all time records but that doesn't mean people will respect him (not that he cares!)
I've way more time for boxers who lost the zero cos they took major risks. Floyd is terrified of getting hit and getting beat.Comment

I'm not a Floyd sympathizer, but I can't blame him for sucker punching Ortiz.
Ortiz went for an obviously intentional headbutt and tried to be all friendly and apologetic afterwards, which was even worse than the headbutt itself.
Ortiz quit twice that night, first with that cheap headbutt (obvious sign of frustration and wanting out), and then staying down without even trying to get up.
The fight ****** and was a let down with that anticlimactic ending. The exchange between Floyd and Larry Merchant was the highlight of the night.Comment

I had never seen the first one. Man that Was just horrible.
Terry Norris lost control a few times in his career. Here is one:

I never felt the Floyd punch was a sucker punch. He's locked in and Ortiz getting hit like that just showed how much of a mental midget he was in that situation. What was the purpose of blaming Floyd for Ortiz and his lack of understanding? Seriously.Comment
