i think hopkins could at least get a tune up against a journeyman to get comfortable.

he doesn't need a tune up for tarver...this fight will be much easier for hopkins than you think

Taylor's a way bigger test than Tarver will be

I dont know about the weight but I do know that if Tarver loses and tries to make a excuse about the weight, then he looks like a fool because its the same thing RJ said and Tarver dissed him for that. After all that rapid weight loss, Jones didnt look the same again but I think Jones was more harder because his was all muscle and Tarver didnt look musclar

moving up is a killa, your body is adding weight which makes you have to work on your hand speed , footwork, etc..

Tarver has already dropped the weight, and at this point that is a good sign. I read somewhere that about 2 weeks ago, he did a mock weigh-in and weighed 172.

The night of the fight, Tarver will weigh about 185, Hopkins has never faced a man that big. The only world class fighters that Hopkins beat were acutally true Welters. Hopkins is smaller, less power, will be slower, and more stationary.

That's a buncha BS. No way did he weigh 172 this early.

Tarver got big for Rocky. Weight will be an issue in this fight.
