you just dont understand how "relationships" work in boxing. You may work with someone on a few shows, or with a particular fighter, and be pretty close. But then you might not work with them again for 5 years. You dont really talk much in between, but when you do bump in to each other somewhere its like old friends.

But one thing you DONT do is go sticking your snout into his relationships with his fighter. If JDJ is ok with working with Kovalev, then thats his business, and its good enough for me.

But I understand how as an outsider this might not make sense to you. Boxing is a strange business.....

I'm talking about how you this man invites you to his house and let you eat off his good china and you turn around and never once come to his defense when Sergey is dragging his name thru the mud and throwing him under the bus. But when Ward's team comes after him you speak up. Damn! I guess if you want loyalty in boxing you better buy a dog

This drama is tiring lol Imo this fight has lost a lot of its intrigue and steam.

It'll be another competitive fight, but unless somebody gets KO'd or stopped, it won't make waves in the sport.

I expect the PPV buy rate to be lower this time around. I don't see a lot of people excited about the rematch.

Maybe they could've benefitted from a fight in between this rematch.

All of this here seems like they're desperate to create a storyline to garner hype for this fight.

Sad thing about the whole thing is Jerboa Brain-Kovalev is probably just starting to compute that story ... He might be done by fight night ...

John David is quite capable of defending himself. And he is still working with Kovalev.

Like I said, it probably doesnt make sense to an outsider, but you dont go sticking your snout into a trainers relationship with his fighter. JDJ is a grown man, and if he had a problem with anything Kov said or did, he wouldnt be there today. So either he didnt have a problem, or if he did have one, they worked it out. End of story.

He could defend himself against J. Prince allegations today but you felt the need to step in and defend him. Why didn't you do that when Kovalev was throwing him under the bus?

you are overreacting like a scorned female. Why do you have such a vested interest in this issue that you felt the need to start multiple threads about it?

Anyways, I didnt "defend" JDJ at all, because as I said before, he is quite capable of doing that himself. All I did was to laugh at people who were trying to discern from his manner of speaking as to whether or not he was being truthful, and having had plenty of 1-on-1 conversations with the man, I thought I might share my insight. I took no position on whether or not he should have even spoken to Wards camp in the first place, and it was only after Eff Pandas asked my opinion did I opine that I didnt believe JDJ would have made the first overture.

                      So slow your roll............
