I don't know. I'm still apt to believe it's a bit of mind games from Ward's team, stirring the pot..whatever you want to call it.

Jackson has one smooth voice though. I'd like him to read to me while i'm tucked up in bed and it's raining outside.

Here's a novel idea for a boxer - shut the *** up and box.

What's next, they're gonna kidnap his kids and say it's good mind games?

Instead, going on to explain himself indicates where his mind is at. It's not the mind of someone who wasn't caught up in something.

Raheem did an old police tactic there, he asked a question that has an assumption of guilt, to see if the individual answers as an innocent person or as a guilty one.
There's no question that JDJ is "guilty." He only specified that Ward's side was the first to make contact. Clearly JDJ has followed up in some way. They've been talking.

It's clear that the Kovalev camp is a little wobbly if not totally chaotic.

Like I said in Redd's thread, Jackson admitting there was a conversation makes me believe J. Prince. Think about it this way. Who needs who more? Why would Ward need Jackson? With all the turmoil between Jackson & Kovalev it's better for Andre if Jackson stayed there. Jackson is the one looking for a way out

people trying to read into JDJs manner of speaking cracks me up. Ive had dinner in the mans home and he sounds exactly the same way when asking you to pass the potatoes.

As for who reached out to whom, maybe Ward has the emails to prove it. Oh, wait.......

Edit: And FWIW, I have no doubt that Wards side reached out to JDJ. However I dont believe for a second they would have actually hired him. If he would have agreed to a deal, they would have said "on second thought no thanks", and then made it all public to try and torpedo Kovalevs training camp.......

You've had dinner at this man house so that means he considers you a friend or close associate. But you never call Sergey out for the way he talks about your friend/close associate. Damn! Cold world

Was foul of Ward's team to make this public but heck, it's war a there will be mindgames a plenty. It doesn't matter who you believe, this now sows discord in Team Kovalev.

                      I don't believe that

I like Kovalev, and I support him, but I am calling bullshht on that one
