Floods always held the mythical best title hostage.
There are many tough fighters who wanted to beat floyd yet he wouldn't fight them.
Brook wanted to show he was the best as did spence I'm sure as did Thurman

The differnece is the guys Floyd fought (with the exception of Berto, no way to forgive that bullshyt) were all just as bonafide at the time as the 3 guys you named. And they were bigger money fights to boot.

Horn is not even as bonafide as Hank Lundy.
And a fight with Garcia or Porter does 10 times the money.

There is just no excuse for this.

So why wouldn't floyd do that. The standards for floyd have always been lower he's been allowed to get away with it his whole career.
His legacy has paid price for short term gain though. That's why most boxing fans around world consider PAC greater than floyd.
Mayweather beat more top 3 P4P fighters than Pacquiao, beat more world champions than Pacquiao, BEAT PACQUIAO.

Most BOXING fans KNOW Mayweather is greater. Casuals and Pac turds THINK Pacquiao is.

Pacquiao has cherry picked his way since moving from 130. Hiding behind Arum as an excuse.

Floyd is famous around the world, even probably tribes in amazon know floyd is famous for trying to get advantages and being cautious I didn't just make that up on the spot right now like the stats you just made up.
Floyd fought nelo at cw as he knew he'd still be no1 with it, makes no difference so no need to challenge himself.
But as I said short term gain i.e. Winning against nelo equals lifetime of pain. Floods legacy is not where packs at

I think we're just on the same side, i didn't say it was okay and im not giving him any pass for it.
I was just simply explaining why it wasn't as criticized as Floyd's when it's a worse fight than floyd-berto. and part of the reasons is because nobody cared much about pac anymore.

Actually I thought there was a lot in your post that was accurate, hence the "doe".

But if Manny wants to keep fighting he needs to fight the best or give up that hardware.

Sooner or later one of the greedy sanctioning bodies will take care of this by making one of them his mandatory...

Free pass? It's been ridiculed since day one.

Advantages? Like Pacquiao and his catchweights for Margarito and Cotto. Those stats aren't made up, it's a fact Mayweather has beat the most world champions ever and has beat more P4P top 3 rated fighters than Pacquiao.

Where did all the Pacquiao fans go? They left, because they were clueless casuals like everyone said they were, the rest jumped ship to ride on Lil G's cock.

                    's cock.
Thats always been a criticism of floyd until recently it seems. Floyd not having fouight p4p fighters who actually deserved that ranking.
Bloating JMM up 2 divisions inst fighting a pfp ranked fight, neither is SSM coming off one win against Margarito. Floyd doesnt fight top pfp fighters unless theyre smaller than him and past prime like Pac.

No matter how much you try manufacture Pacs image, its not the cherry picking being cautious try to get things in his favour reputation like floyd. People wont criticise Pacs win over Margarito as it was real david and goliath stuff.
Pac already had FOTD in the bag. Floyd was in no position to make CW demands when he wants to be TBE. He just wanted his zero. Well hes got that shor term gain but he will suffer lifetime of pain.

Per boxrec ole Jeff Horn is rated 11th in the world at welter

One spot behind Kell Brook, 3 spots behind Broner, 5 spots ahead of Berto and 6 spots ahead of Lucas Matthysse

Lundy is rated 26th at LW
