The eye is in fact broken. There was an article out about it. Brook stayed over at the hospital after the fight until 3am in the morning and they did CT scans and a whole lot of check ups. It was confirmed he has the same injury as the one he got from GGG and he was given the clear to go under the knife.

You need to retire period. Quitting in two different fights. Only fight I'd watch is the Khan the fight because of the long history, but other than that - I have no interest in watching Kell Brook fight bums in the UK or quitting against real American competition.

I think that after watching Julio quit vs. Fonfara, and not even attempt to beat Canelo, I don't want to put Brook in the same category. It's not like he was faking an injury, he really got his face broken twice! His hands are too low! He's not good enough to fight like that at the elite level at 147 or 154.
