Golovkin should have the edge early but if the fight wears on, the advantage goes to the younger Canelo. Those who think any middleweight is walking through Canelo's punches...are delusional. Canelo has make you hesitate power that he recently displayed against JCC Jr.
Golovkin is an excellent boxer with extreme discipline but that also results in him being predictable. The question is if Canelo can capitalize on that predictability.

A lot of fair thought around 'what if Golovkin gets hurt', how will he react.

What if Canelo gets hurt ? Will he be as keen to throw his combos ? Don't remember seeing Canelo hurt, so an unknown there.

Jacobs would beat canelo also......look the bottom line is canelo is a flat footed cannot fight going backwards and sitiing with his back on the ropes will add to his downfall....golovkins jab and relentless in your face attack will take canelo deeper and deeper into rough waters and by the 10th round canelo will be a broken man...canelo is not a big puncher at middleweight who in my opinion has never felt the kind of power and pace a fired up golovkin is going to bring..canelo cannot win this fight in my eyes

Isn't Golovkin flat footed? When have we seen Golovkin fight going backwards? Big puncher at Middleweight? We've never seen Canelo at a full 160 but we have seen him generate enough power at Super Middleweight to make a former 160 champion/Light Heavyweight gun shy.
People forget that Jacobs chin was questioned because of Pirog and Mora but he still went the distance with GGG. It seems to me that 26 yr old Canelo has been improving steadily since the Mayweather loss while the flaws in Golovkin's armor have been displayed more as the level of his opposition has improved. Should be a great fight.

And don't forget Smith, who had slow feet and zero head movement. I feel sorry for Canelo, I don't think he's improving the way he thinks he is.
