Thing is, who has out jabbed Golovkin? Canelo is shorter, making it more difficult still, and he's last fights that people take as an improvement were all sitting ducks. Liam Smith and Chavez make Golovkin look like Pernell.

Canelo has only showed these skills against slow guys with no head movement. He's in for a bad surprise I think. He's gotta fight him, no reach or footwork to outbox him.

This should answer your question lol
Canelo was 19 in that fight. People are in for a rude awakening if they think that has any relevance to present day Canelo.

Ggg is too slow for Canelo. I think Canelo wins easily. It will be up to ggg if he wants to box go the distance and lose on points... or he can try and street fight Canelo like he did with brook and get knocked out

But unlike Jacobs, Nelo has head movements to save him.

Jacobs was getting tagged all night long by a jab from a shorter man.

Nelo will move his head and place his counters.

I just think Nelo counterpunching won't be effective enough to save his ass from a GGG beating.

Jacobs had the power to keep GGG carefull and honnest.

                Not sure about Nelo.

Jacobs has so much more leverage/lenght and weight in his punches than Nelo...

The whole fight depends on Canelo ability to absorb the GGG power shots. If he can, he will win the fight. GGG has slowed down a bit it seems and CANELO puts his combinations together nicely which will win him rounds with the judges. Gonna be an interesting fight. Either way, GGG will get no credit for beating a "smaller" Canelo, or he will be "exposed" as a bum if he loses.
Yeah if Canelo is still around in the 8th then GGG is probably in trouble. Canelo has one of the best body combos in the game. Almost all his combos use a body punch.amd his body to uppercut us a thing of beauty...

Golovkin is an excellent boxer with extreme discipline but that also results in him being predictable. The question is if Canelo can capitalize on that predictability.

                    Most likely the opposite IMO.

You obviously beat GGG with counterpunching.

There are 2 ways, outlanding GGG with those counterpunches or stopping him.

The thing is Nelo will land his counter then won't move, and will be there to get hit.

So unless those counters wobbles GGG and makes of the Kazakh a good boy, Nelo is in there for a long night, because Nelo won't like getting chased non stop and GGG is no slouch.

GGG won a close decision vs Jacobs but still outlanded a longer skilled fighter.
Dude is no slouch, that's why the Jacobs fight should tell us.

Unlike Jacobs, Nelo is the shorter guy, Nelo is even shorter than Brook.

I think the "smaller" faster, skilled fighter will have the advantage early in the fight, Nelo will find GGG in the first rounds.

I think Nelo won't handle GGG pressure unless his punches derail the GGG train, but he doesn't throw enough punches to do that.
