[LIST][*]Floyd is currently 40 years old. He's also been out of the ring for almost 2 years, WITHOUT sparring. It is unprecedented for a guy to just waltz into a fight after 2 years out of the ring at the ripe old age of 40 and walk all over a professional combat athlete
Vitali Klitschko did. Ok he wasn't 40 but only 37. However he fought the no.2 HW in the World and not some bum off the street.

This jackass actually used bullet points

Get the fuck out with this nonsense. This fight is a joke and looks bad for boxing. Now considering that Floyd is retired and this is only about money, I don't care that much but stop with this damage control bullshit. Nobody's buying it.

The fact you have to use bullet points to explain why a fight is compelling tells you all you need to know about this fight.

Don't act like Khan wouldn't take on McGregor if the opportunity presented itself.
What has Mayweather fighting McG got to do with Amir Khan?

I love when people is reaching like that. "It only takes 1 punch!". It takes so much more to beat Mayweather, you need to be a freaking bulldozer.

Yeah and Tom Brady would dominate Shaquille O'neill in a basketball contest!!

MMA & boxing are miles apart. The fact that you throw punches in both sports is the only thing they have in common. Some of the top UFC fighters are wrestlers/grapplers who took up "striking" 2 years prior to becoming world champion. Boxing is a different ball game. Also how much power does McGregor really have? Those MMA gloves are light AF

                  Agreed.

"It only takes 1 punch!" - 49 top level pro boxers havneby managed to knock him out with one punch. Why the *** would a UFC fighter do any better?

Yeah based on that theory, Floyd would have lost to Maidana, Castillo, Pac, Marquez and so fourth. They all hit him with their best shot, and he ate it. No stanky legs.

This fight is symbolic. It doesn't really have as much to do with the actual fight in the ring, as the results are already quite set. This is more about history, culture, clashes of sports etc.
