Crawford drains himself bigly to make 140. He was a zombie at 135 too.

He has the height and reach to compete at Welterweight easily. He's much bigger than most of his opponents.

GGG is a good sized middle who could possibly compete at 168 but would be too small for 175. There's no need atm for him to fight at 168 as it's a pretty drab division.

Who wouldn't want to face an ancient Manny ? It's a win win for him.

The guy is very talented but he's been huge for the divisions he's competed in thus far.

He's definitely big enough for 147, he has the height, reach and frame. If he dominates there it would be hard to argue him being p4p the best.

Hopefully Arum and Haymon can make amends. He doesn't need to be languishing at 140 anymore.

Yes, when he does this to prevent us from seeing the fights we want.

If HBO is serious about Crawford fighting Spence/Brook winner or Thurman as Lampley/max/Roy suggested, then the easiest way for this to happen IMO is in unification fights. So get the Crawford/Manny fight done.

If he wins, make the fights. If he loses, make the fights with Manny.

I hardly feels he has "many detractors" at all , he is a great boxer that can become P4P king , some are trying to rush him towards that goal by asking him to move to 147 where all the big names fight thats all, as with ANY boxer he got fans and haters , for Bud i feel he has the least hater count from any current active champ!
