Factor in his overmatched opponents, his size at 135/140 and his reluctance to leap up to 147 against the young lions and there is some room for skepticism. He can call out Pac and Thurman all he wants, but we all know who the lion's share of the purse is going to and if he thinks he has leverage for a bigger cut he's sadly mistaken at this point. Get a big win at 147 and the money fights will start to flow. Until then, keep fighting the Molinas and Indongos and wonder why you haven't reached marquee status.
To be fair he is only 29.

He has detractors because most boxing fans are too ****** to know what a really good fighter looks like, without an amazing resume of big names on it.

If you don't think guys like loma, Crawford, GGG, are Phenominal top notch fighters, I really don't respect your opinion.

Is it because he's black? Because that's what it seems like.
Terence Crawford did his due beating Gamboa at 26 years of age. He is 29 now...and a 2 Division Champ..

How can you even compare him to Golovkin? Where was Golovkin at 29? How many weights?

Only 29? So he's in his prime now. I don't see Crawford fans saying Loma is "only 29", yet they want him to move up and fight Mikey Garcia in a hurry.

It takes time, my man. Not everybody can be legends by the age of 29 like Hearns, Hagler, Manny, Floyd, Duran, Camacho, Wildred, Delahoya, Leonard...etc.

These same Crawford fans crying racism are the ones who detract from Lomachenko's win over Walters "he hadn't fought in a year doe, it means nothing".

Meanwhile, crickets chirp when you bring up the fact that Gamboa was a smaller guy and he hadn't fought in over a year when he went up against Crawford.

I almost always see positive stuff about him on here....so not sure what you're getting at. My only issue with him is that he has too many Diaz's and Dulorme's on his resume and not enough Gamboa's. I think the Indongo fight will go a long way in satisfying boxing fans and then a move up to 147...and that's something else that hasn't helped. Whereas someone like Khan had no problem in signing to fight the best regardless of weight, TC was asked to fight Pac and said he would not do it at 147.

Let's hope that has changed now.

These guys weren't legends by 29, Camacho has never been a legend, Wildred (I assume that's Wilfred) wouldn't be considered an atg.
