who overpaid these guys to fight bums so much that they only end up fighting once every year or even longer?

Wow. PBC has been throwing crumbs and this guy is still a fan. One fight a year per fighter is not something to brag about.

PBC was created to convince TV conglomerates to spend more money on boxing than they were spending before.

CBS corporation is now spending more money on boxing than they were spending before.

21st Century FOX is now spending more money on boxing than they were spending before.

So no, PBC has not failed. Haymon has more control of US boxing than he's ever had. He has more TV dates than he's ever had. He has more fighters than he's ever had. He has more world champions than he's ever had. He has more power than he's ever had. So what is the failure exactly? He won his lawsuits. CBS is loosening the purse strings and HBO boxing is dying. He's sitting in a great position.

they have lost money and nbc espn and spike gave them the boot. al gaymon failed miserably. I know it hurts you guys to admit which is hilarious by the way.
NBC & ESPN do not want to spend money on boxing. CBS & FOX do, so Haymon shifted his focus to the networks willing to buy boxing programming. ESPN is getting free shows from Golden Boy.

As for Spike, Spike is being shut down in favor of The Paramount Network. It's all owned by the same company as CBS & Showtime. Haymon is where the CBS corporation gets their boxing from. When they wanted boxing on Spike, he gave it to them. Now they want more boxing on Showtime instead, so he's giving it to them.

al gaymon only sends his pure bums to HBO where he knows they will get destroyed. he doesn't have the balls to match up his a side guys with HBO a side guys.

ginger vs jr. now I have a question for you, what were the ratings for the last big fight on showtime? berto vs porter flopped and wlad vs johua did not do as good this is what it really comes down to. you are too dumb to realize that hbo doesn't have the huge roster that gaymon does so they cant put on as many cards and they keep reducing their budget yet auntie al still can't take over boxing.

... so, let me get it straight: Haymon lost hundreds of million of $ from investors' money in order to convince TV conglomerates to spend more money on boxing, right?...
... some TV channels took the money and left, some took the money and didn't... And now that the "market is stabilised", the money will pour back with interest, right?... Smart business moves, no doubt...

I didn't Know that. So there are only 2 categories, Haymon and non-Haymon? What is the reason for this? Why couldnt a HBO Fighter Fight a "Haymom" Fighter? Forgive my newbie question, but Im not quite understanding this. In the NFL, I havent followed it for Years, but I believe mostly AFC teams play on CBS, and NFC teams play on Fox (or at least it used to be that way). But there are still inter-conference games. Can u please explain to me why 1 network's Fighters can't Fight the others'? Thanks, in advance, Im trying to Learn all this.

I dont Know why all the hatred for Al Haymon. I dont Know about all this promoter BS, but I do like Boxing. Because of PBC, there are More Fights on TV to Watch. As a casual fan, I like that. HBO doesnt have Many Fights. When they do, I'll Watch. When other channels have Fights, I'll Watch those. I like having More Fights on TV. Surely that can't be a bad thing. Do u only want 1 Applebee's in your town, or would u like other places to eat, as well? I like more choices, not less. I want all the channels to do well, so Every Week, theres at least Some Boxing on somewhere. So long live PBC, SHO, HBO, everyone! Cant we all get along LOL?
