But you kind of missed the point. He handed 12 rounds fine. The context is going right back into camp for a June fight and then right back into camp for a September fight. They had deemed it too much. And GGG is 35 so whose to say they were not right.

I know you want to ignore the full context, but he handled 12 rounds fine.

And they never said he was injured, that came from Warren. Likely misconstruing what was actually said.
How did Brook do "far" more damage when he got his face broke in 5 rounds. Golovkin had no respect for Brooks power... he literally said it right after the fight. However, he gave Jacobs a lot of praise. Why is it so hard to say the Jacobs fight was tough. Even Golovkin and his team admitted it. Golovkin won! Isn't that enough?

CLEARLY GGG had Canelo in his sights and probably knew it would get done soon. Plus he had Saunders who wanted to fight him, but Oscar cried like a little girl cause he wanted to have ample time to promote Canelo-GGG fight.

A guy with options to fight either a multi million dollar pay day or a guy with a world title doesn't avoid fighters, he just has better options, smart one.
Please if you truly think lil g is not avoiding Jacobs then you're just a casual and can't be taken seriously when it comes to boxing arguments.

lil g only has canelo in his sights for 1 $reason$ only plus his team said that maybe he'll rematch Jacobs in about 5 fights down the road, now why not right after the canelo fight????? Cuz you know after the canelo fight you cant fight anymore bums. He's got a hand-full with guys like the Charlo brothers and so on to mix it up with not no bum a** bily joe "who".

In other equally shocking news, the sun set in the West yesterday and is expected to do so again today.

He did much more than just not get knocked out. Danny put up a hell of an effort in that fight and deserves a ton of credit for it. That said, Danny is correct in so far as the time frame for him even having a possibly of a rematch. In the mean time I would love to see him in there with Lemiuex, Saunders/Khurtsidze winner, or Charlo. Him versus Charlo is a fantastic fight imo and would move Danny within striking distance as a mandatory for the IBF if he were to win.

I don't blame him for wanting a rematch. I blame him for *****ing about it and thinking all he has to do is sit back and cry about his loss to get another matchup. There aren't even rumors of Jacobs fighting again let alone who.

So you're saying Jacobs delayed a fight for 3-4 months for an extra 250k as if that was GGG's teams problem.

I wish Team Golovkin call his bluff, rather than letting him dine out on a valiant effort. I am still amazed that people think Danny Jacobs won 7 rounds in that fight. Golovkin beats him easier next time, especially as Jacobs won't get rounds for surviving next time.

No I'm saying the fight almost didn't happen over $250k but I'm sure you would of been cool with Plan B??? Fighting another Cab driving tomato can.
