What drop in numbers? Mayweather and Pacquiao were selling big numbers. Others weren't, Canelo was selling 300k against Lara like he did with Liam Smith. The last PPV not involving Pacquiao or Mayweather to sell over 500k was Cotto-Margarito 2 all the way back in 2011. Since Mayweather-Pacquiao there's been 3 that sold over 500k.

If they did at least 1 million then wow, that is good. I wasn't expecting to hear that number. I thought more in the range of anywhere from 700,000 up to 800,000 ppv buys. But damn at least 1 million is big for a fight like that.

And if majority of the fans watching that were turned off by the fight decide to not to buy the Golovkin-Canelo fight then that is their bad. They are going to miss a good ass fight!
