This is not even remotely comparable to Martinez/Chavez. I believe Chavez was Martinez's mandatory whereas Canelo chose this fight. Martinez was much older, shorter and overall a smaller fighter smaller than Chaverz Jr. Chavez didn't really have much of a size advantage and was the older fighter. Plus he was a guy with known issues making weight in the passed but was forced to drop down to much lower than he had in years.

Or that its easy to pull up a white stripes song & gigi footage in 2 seconds online,& that they had it all planned out contingently pending a canelo victory. Theres countless instances where fighters already had a contract for their next fight only to lose & instantly render the contract null & void.

There is no conspiracy about the GGG-Jacobs fight. GGG dropped Jacobs, outlanded him, was more accurate and had Jacobs backing up the entire night. That the fight was still so close was a testiment to how well Jacobs fought. But he lost. No conspiracy there. Stop saying there was.

There definitely was,im not being a gigi hater(I honestly cant stand him but dont outright lie to myself to justify), before the fight I said many times online that Jacobs would expose him not because hes great but because gigi is highly inexperienced vs elite opponents. I also said that the whole point of why I didnt rate gigi highly was because it was impossible to know how good he really was,& that if he ko'd jacobs that I would agree hes the real deal. But I told everyone he wouldn't ko jacobs easily like many many people said, including Jez-abel sanchez. Boxing is like fighting 12 3 min fights, you can outland your opponent over an entire fight & lose if they do it more steadily & u do it in a few rds. This fight everyone knew was between power punchers w almost equal ko pct. So look at it this way, jacobs outlanded gigi in total power shots & in 8 rds in fight & was out landing him in combos & eye catching shots, while gigi was scared to trade & would shell up as soon as jacobs tried to,& went into headhunting mode w the jab the entire fight. & Yes he landed way more jabs but lets be honest jabs count 4 lil points in a title fight,& lets not forget the ref warned jacobs 4 a rabbit punch but gigi was never warned for countless rabbit punches everytime hed clinch jacobs(& he clinched often). Thats why it was so relieveing to see a ref warn a fighter 4 turning his head & getting rabbit punched in the undercard of this event.

Because gigi kept turning his face away from jacobs punches & then jacobs was blamed. Look @ the scorecards they gave jacobs later rds he lost & gigi still won by several points, thats a obvious sign they gave gigi most early rds including several he lost then gave jacobs some rds when it didnt matter. Thats the most obvious sign of judges gifting the favorite the win,its always been that way. Bottom line is that jacobs CLEARLY fought his fight while gigi looked like he wanted it to be over after the 6th,& after the fight his face showed he knew he lost.

Do you seriously believe that gigi won by 3 rds? Im a fan of canelo too,so why would I want to take away luster of canelos potential victory by lieing to myself about what was a comfortable jacobs win.

Chavez Jr was a drained punching bag in the ring who barely threw a punch. How anybody can even compare a Chavez with another worldclass fighter like Jacobs is just laughable.
Its not that Canelo didnt finished him
Canelo's power is overrated, he could not finish Chavez jr.

If that was true then why would he get so thouroughly whooped & throw 6x as many punches as landed? If a fight is fixed its for a fighter to take a dive, why would jr stand on his feet the entire fight getting pummeled to the point your eyelids are barely hanging on?did you see the interview by univision news etc. He even confirmed the obvious,"I couldn't throw more because he was too fast,& I would open myself to counters,he wouldve ko'd" "me hubiera noqueado" "he was just too fast,as soon as I threw he pounded my head". He also said martinez is the best hes fought not canelo & that "he never hurt me",why would he say that?

NO ONE ON EARTH WOULD WILLINGLY GET BRAIN DAMAGE,ESp. JR who ALREADY WAS DOWN TO 12 BRAINCELLS"

Ya his power sure is overrated,he couldn't Ko someone in survival mode who actually is 6'1 & lhw, whos only been kd once by fonfara @lhw & only quit on his stool, wasnt ko'd. Gigi who is supposedly his biggest threat & a 'monster' ko artist couldnt ko a known glass jaw who was almost put to sleep by sergio friggin mora,he couldn't ko someone with a broken orbital bone who jumped 2 divisions from welter for several rds. Funny how when gs fans(not saying your 1 of them) say "he kd jacobs, landed more etc." yet they don't criticize g for not putting him away. Jr is known to be able to take an insane amount of punishment & not get ko'd,its actualley irresponsible for his corner not to have thrown in the towel,or the ref stopped it,thats how some have died in the ring even recently.
