This is not even remotely comparable to Martinez/Chavez. I believe Chavez was Martinez's mandatory whereas Canelo chose this fight. Martinez was much older, shorter and overall a smaller fighter smaller than Chaverz Jr. Chavez didn't really have much of a size advantage and was the older fighter. Plus he was a guy with known issues making weight in the passed but was forced to drop down to much lower than he had in years.

Is it any coincidence that gggroupies are always the ones crying conspiracy. Yet they see no conspiracy when jacobs was robbed to make another "superfight" that will surely not deliver. How hard is it for ******s to understand what a contingency contract is? Or that its easy to pull up a white stripes song & gigi footage in 2 seconds online,& that they had it all planned out contingently pending a canelo victory. Theres countless instances where fighters already had a contract for their next fight only to lose & instantly render the contract null & void.
There is no conspiracy about the GGG-Jacobs fight. GGG dropped Jacobs, outlanded him, was more accurate and had Jacobs backing up the entire night. That the fight was still so close was a testiment to how well Jacobs fought. But he lost. No conspiracy there. Stop saying there was.Comment

Because gigi kept turning his face away from jacobs punches & then jacobs was blamed. Look @ the scorecards they gave jacobs later rds he lost & gigi still won by several points, thats a obvious sign they gave gigi most early rds including several he lost then gave jacobs some rds when it didnt matter. Thats the most obvious sign of judges gifting the favorite the win,its always been that way. Bottom line is that jacobs CLEARLY fought his fight while gigi looked like he wanted it to be over after the 6th,& after the fight his face showed he knew he lost.
Do you seriously believe that gigi won by 3 rds? Im a fan of canelo too,so why would I want to take away luster of canelos potential victory by lieing to myself about what was a comfortable jacobs win.Comment

part of the deal, listen jr we have a big fight already signed, you do nothing, canela won't ko you, you'll get paid and we'll put you on another show with a punching bag.Comment

I think everybody but a few Canelo fangirls thought that, after Rd 3 i thought no way this would go 12, but then Canelo didnt push the trigger, just stood there, landed his punches, but never went in for the kill.. Chavez Jr was a drained punching bag in the ring who barely threw a punch. How anybody can even compare a Chavez with another worldclass fighter like Jacobs is just laughable.
Canelo's power is overrated, he could not finish Chavez jr.Comment

Ya his power sure is overrated,he couldn't Ko someone in survival mode who actually is 6'1 & lhw, whos only been kd once by fonfara @lhw & only quit on his stool, wasnt ko'd. Gigi who is supposedly his biggest threat & a 'monster' ko artist couldnt ko a known glass jaw who was almost put to sleep by sergio friggin mora,he couldn't ko someone with a broken orbital bone who jumped 2 divisions from welter for several rds. Funny how when gs fans(not saying your 1 of them) say "he kd jacobs, landed more etc." yet they don't criticize g for not putting him away. Jr is known to be able to take an insane amount of punishment & not get ko'd,its actualley irresponsible for his corner not to have thrown in the towel,or the ref stopped it,thats how some have died in the ring even recently.Comment
