I think if he beats Miranda, he is definetly top 5, if not 3. Taylor is fighting Winky, a guy who will most likely not knock him out, but both are going to go for the decesion. Miranda has lots of power, and is a big risk for Abraham. So you decide who is fighting the better fighters.

No way in hell Abraham is the best middleweight in the world.

Jermain Taylor is by far the best because not only did he beat the best, but he beat him twice. He has been the WBC and the Ring Champion since dethroning the 20 time middleweight champion last year. since His next fight is against Winky Wright, the second best fighter in the division.

Conversely, Abraham won the IBF belt that was vacated by Taylor. He has looked very impressive disposing of non descript opposition in his home country. His next fight is against a flawed and one dimensional prospect named Edison Miranda, a guy who is nowhere near ready for a title fight.

Abraham would'nt even be champ right now..he has a belt that Taylor vacate, you guys probably know i root for Abraham in his most fights but if there are two people he cant beat in the middleweight division its Winky and Taylor.

No, not at all. Abraham is the number 3 guy in the division. But that was my point, Taylor is the best middleweight in the world. He's proven himself before, Abraham needs to prove himself against elite opposition first before he even gets a second thought as THE man in the sport.

By elite I mean credible opposition. Abraham hasn't beaten anyone really. Hes a good young fighter but he has yet to prove himself as being the best because his biggest wins were against Eastman and Ikeke. Taylor's credentials as the best middleweight come in his two victories over Bernard Hopkins. Winky Wright is a world class fighter who has beaten the likes of Mosley and Trinidad. Abraham's resume looks nothing like that. Abraham may one day be the best middleweight in the world, but as of now hes not there.
