They'd take a hit but be fine as long as it is a good fight. Chavez would have to dominate him to really take away Canelo's juice, and that is pretty far-fetched. Rematch would be money.

There's a rematch clause, right? Chavez Jr the A-side. It'll be a 185.5 lb catchweight

That's the great thing for either side. It's a no lose situation and if it does ****** numbers you can rematch in September.

it's not the end of the world. why do a lot of you act like if a fighter loses then it's the end for him and his promotional team? you can always build a fighter back up again, feed him some bum and make him look unstoppable again.

I hate how boxers have so much to lose from a loss. That is why we have this constant ducking in boxing. You lose one fight and your career is over. Look at MMA. McGregor lost a fight and he didnt lose a fan lol

They sit down and have a good cry. Then they start being very thrifty with their money because harder times are here for them. They have other good fighters but Canelo is their main money maker. A loss to Chavez would cut his money making potential at least in half and maybe more.

65/35 at best, too. I'd say more likely 80/20. And the only reason I give him a 20% chance is because of the size difference.

It's a loss and he is young he can bounce back. Why do so called boxing fans think if a guy loses it's over?
