Someone please give this dude a reality check and remind him that the world of boxing does not revolve around him. Floyd had obligations during his court cases and guess what he lived up to them. You can't go on and on talking about being the A side and how all of your opponents have to do what you want them to and act the way you want them to and then also complain about the commissions not giving you what you want. Welcome to the real world, your personal issues have nothing to do with business or the sport. THEY KNEW THEY HAD 15 DAYS, IT WAS A RELEASED AND PUBLIC DOCUMENT.

GGG team are a bunch of amateurs at making fights. Now that the WBC is out of the equation if and when GGG fight happens it will be 100% on Canelo's terms with him making far more money. Canelo wanted to fight Floyd rather then play games trying to get Floyd vacated by mandatory status he agreed to all Floyd's terms to make the fight. Floyd demanded 152 catchweight and was only willing to give Canelo a 90/10 split. Canelo took it and made the fight instead of crying and lying about it only being about the belt and forcing a purse bid to get Floyd to vacate. If Canelo did that to Floyd he would of never got the fight and Floyd would of dropped the belt as well. I care about fights not meaningless belts. Mr 154 or 168 killed the fight over weight and money demands to the A side. With weight not even an issue he still turned down 15m. Turned down the Saunders fight proving it's NEVER been about belts. Has the WBC belt and is still begging to fight Canelo. It's always been about business and money.

This was nothing more then a foolish gamble to gain leverage at the negotiations table and it blew up in GGG face. When GGG and his team come to their senses that Canelo NOT them dictates terms because he is the A side, PPV superstar, and they need him to make money not the other way around they will get the fight. GGG is now older and likely to make less money then if he took the fight offer originally.

Totally agree. I also get that there are a bunch of folks who dislike, or even hate, Alvarez. How they feel is up to them, but all this babble about Canelo ducking this guy or that guy, or taking unfair advantage of other fighters when Canelo showers them with millions of dollars is beyond the pale. It is ironic that they cry crocodile tears for these slights and indignities when the whole point of the sport is have two people beat each other senseless. I guess brutal beatings are ok, but pressing your advantage in negotiations is not. In business not pressing your advantage will get you fired or even land you in jail for being negligent.

there is no such a thing like the real belt, we all know ggg is the mw champ, no need a belt for that... i wouldnt consider wilder the real champ of HW either... if canelo wants to be considered the MW champ he needs to beat ggg with or without the belts...

Exactly it's a business so if that is GGG stance then shut up and stop name dropping Canelo stop begging to fight Canelo and just do your own thing and make the 2m paychecks he gets per fight and make whatever faily tale endorsements he gets in Kaza phuk stan. Canelo making more money, not fairy tales and selling PPVs with or without GGG. He is set to make 20m this weekend and Chavez is guaranteed to make more fighting Canelo as a B side then GGG has ever been paid for a fight. So if GGG wants to turn down that money trust me every other fighter 2 weight classes above or below Canelo would all kill for a fraction of the money GGG has turned down.

Ill be watching this on free stream. I will only support fighters who make the best fights. I am turning into uk fan more every day. Fight for pride its not only about biz. You didn't want the GGG fight at that time...that's not the fault of the WBC.
It's not as if it was a surprise sprung on you. The Canelo/Cotto winner was to face GGG next, and they wanted to get the ball rolling.. You knew that.
