G is entitled to all the money. He earned in the ring he has the belts. Canelo can fight G for crumbs for all I care. If he wants the pivaledge of fighting for the belts he will have to pay. GGG NEEDS Canelo not the other way around. He isn't entitle to nothing but what he can bring to the table. He's fighting for 2m paychecks when he can fight Canelo and make 5X that. It's simple what happened the B side tried to use the WBC as leverage to gain weight and money split advantages something that NO PPV star like Canelo or Floyd would ever allow. Imagine a non ppv B side ever telling Floyd what the terms of their fight will be. Canelo, Floyd, Pacquiao, Cotto are all bigger then any belt. They have all vacated belts and reached a PPV status where if you want to fight them you have to negoatate and agree to their terms or NO fight. It's as simple as that. GGG tried to use the WBC to force a purse bid to get terms he didn't deserve. And only an idiot would give up the millions over a ****** belt.

When is the last time a fighter offered another fighter who has lame PPV numbers $15 million to fight and folks said he was ducking?

GGG should have taken the offer and we would have a fight in September. He and his team gambled on big PPV numbers for the Jacobs fight and that did not happen. Canelo's team should drop the offer to $7 million. GGG is like a panhandler who begs money and complains when he is offered a generous amount and refuses to accept it because he wants 1/2 of his benefactor's money.

GGG team are a bunch of amateurs at making fights. Now that the WBC is out of the equation if and when GGG fight happens it will be 100% on Canelo's terms with him making far more money. Canelo wanted to fight Floyd rather then play games trying to get Floyd vacated by mandatory status he agreed to all Floyd's terms to make the fight. Floyd demanded 152 catchweight and was only willing to give Canelo a 90/10 split. Canelo took it and made the fight instead of crying and lying about it only being about the belt and forcing a purse bid to get Floyd to vacate. If Canelo did that to Floyd he would of never got the fight and Floyd would of dropped the belt as well. I care about fights not meaningless belts. Mr 154 or 168 killed the fight over weight and money demands to the A side. With weight not even an issue he still turned down 15m. Turned down the Saunders fight proving it's NEVER been about belts. Has the WBC belt and is still begging to fight Canelo. It's always been about business and money.

This was nothing more then a foolish gamble to gain leverage at the negotiations table and it blew up in GGG face. When GGG and his team come to their senses that Canelo NOT them dictates terms because he is the A side, PPV superstar, and they need him to make money not the other way around they will get the fight. GGG is now older and likely to make less money then if he took the fight offer originally.

Nice. I've been sh^tting on the Canelo side (more Oscar than Canelo), but Canelo don't need a title. I hope he don't pay a sanctioning fee the rest of his career, but fights legit guys. That's what boxing means. F#ck abc belts.

He needs or doesn't need titles when it suits him i.e handing a title over to GGG yet starving himself and going after a 154 title against Smith to avoid GGG. Nobody wanted Canelo v Smith but Canelo thought that fighting for a belt would justify running away from the MW belt and saying he's not a MW.

Suddenly he can fight higher than 160 like this weekend and will drop his 154 title now he doesn't need it.
