No Kool Aid I'm out. I watched it. so what. Able is saying the kind of things that trainers and managers have been saying since boxing first started. Looks to me that there is major money involved and Able isn't going to say up front that they are willing to compromise. He is a trainer not the promoter or the fighter. I've said from the beginning that Able talks too much. I just ignore what he says unless he's talking about strategy or something involved with training. To set the record straight. When G fought Lemieux I was pulling for Lemieux. I came to this site to get more info. I surprised to see the amount of anger directed towards G. I'm a fan of G because he's an exciting fighter to watch. I dont like Canelo because of his habit of fighting catch weights when it's obvious that he can fight at middleweight. Hes not like Pac or Floyd that fought above their natural fighting weights. I like his boxing style and think he is a good fighter but I think he is very overrated. That opinion is compounded by his habit of fighting catch weights. You say that G doesn't care about legacy if that's true then Canelo is 10 times worse. Has he fought any top contenders at JM recently? I think in the long run its bad for boxing. I've called him a little weasel because that's how he operates.
Canelo has taken much riskier fights than Golovkin
Canelo has taken risks, Golovkin has avoided risks
1) a Golovkin fan should not be questioning another fighters resume..... especially not Canelo's, and especially not when considering.....
* GGG has a much worse resume than Canelo
* GGG has refused a NUMBER of much better opponents
* his trainer admitted that he doesn't care about legacy
that would be about as bad as a pacfan accusing other fighters of steroid abuse
2) I agree with you regarding that 155 rubbish, but.....
you are full of ****, Mr " Boxing Integrity ".....
Canelo fought JMW opponents 1lb over, he did not drain anyone..... but Golovkin OBVIOUSLY tried to drain Ward with that 164 demand..... and just like he promised to fight Canelo at 154, Golovkin also promised to fight Ward at 168
Canelo was lame and unprofessional, but Golovkin was worse
Canelo did not lie to you, Golovkin did..... and forget telling me that you are upset with Canelo about catchweights, when your guy did the exact same thing
you see what you want to seeComment
