I've never gone along with the "everyone else is doing it" justification and I've never been cool with the 2x a year BS for young fighters. Three I can understand. 2x means you're a celebrity first, an athlete second.

We said that earlier. The better the competition the less you are going to fight, unless you are fighting pure bums to make up the numbers. As long as it's quality over quantity then I don't mind.

So basically, if Ortiz waits to fight Joshua, he'll be waiting at least a year. Wilder vs. Ortiz! Make it happen!

fighting twice a year with over 2 month training camps????And 1 month recovery...do the math! Add another fight???sorry but you cant be fighting 3 fights a year at world level if you want 100% attention to retain a title at your peak with injuries or muscle breakdown /lifestyle..actual media coverage,...etc..etc...

I'm not mad at him for doing that. Hell hes only fought 19 fights and has a better resume than Wilder, Parker and Ortiz. With that said, he needs more experience so he doesn't have a repeat of rounds 6,7, and 8 where he was virtually out on his feet.

He'll never become a billionaire with only two fights a year.

That whole Billionaire thing was Fake news.

He's not good enough to be fighting 2x a year. He has a lot to improve on. He needs to be in the ring as often as possible if he hopes to grow and hold on to those titles.
