Twice a year? Come on, man. At least give the people 3. Especially if he has ALL of the belts at some point. Twice a year is for old men. He's 27! More days off than a school teacher.

This is on par with what you see from top draws. Tougher fights bigger money on the table you going to fight less per year. That's the Era we live in. Fight less but more time to promote in between your events and maximize the profits.

If you're a HW or long time established fighter...OK

If you've been in the boxing game a while I understand fighting twice a year once you have had a good number of fights. I give HW a pass even when they have 20 fights only because you're being hit by guys weighing up to 265 lbs. Fighting HW is a different type of punch and causes much more damage and typically recovery is longer for a bigger man vs a smaller guy all things being equal.

AJ trying to do what Mayweather was doing. To be honest though I would rather 2 big fights a year with the likes of Wilder, Fury, Parker and Ortiz than squeezing extra fights in against average fighters like Molina and breazeale

                    Are you kidding me?

Isn't this the type of **** that people hated on Mayweather for?

There's no way you can be considered an all-time great when you're fighting 2x a year. You don't get better with inactivity, especially in boxing.

The guy only has 19 fights and it aint like he's been fighting world beaters other than Wlad.

Dude's going to end up being a celebrity first and a fighter second like Ronda Rousey or somebody.

It's not reality though. He fights 2-3 times a year, not 1-2 times.
