Joshua will get more fans after beating Wlad and he already had a good fanbase as evidenced by his PPV buys. He was also guaranteed $13 million (10 euro) for Wlad which at 19 fights I don't remember any fighter that I have seen earn such a big guarantee before 20 fights. Tyson was 22 (5 years younger than AJ) when he got $20 million dollars for Spinks but that was his 34th pro fight.
But on another topic, Tyson's $20 million earnings for the Spinks fight from 1988, is $42,280,556 in 2017. Joshua's $13 mill today would be $6.3mill in 1988.Comment

Too much hype
Let's pretend for a sec I actually think AJ is the real deal
Even then, he's what 19-0 but so what. He's had 18 joke opponents. vlad also exposed his weaknesses. I'm not a betting man but if it was id say there is at least a 3-1 chance he will be sat on a 23-2 record but he end of 2019 which immediately puts him right at the median average of the division in any era
Also how's he gonna get to this tiger woods level exactly? The only boxer to get that rich is floyd and that's through avoiding and frustrating opponents for long enough to back them down into seriously uneven pay days. There is not enough comp in the hw division for that plus there are too many mans running scared. I could see him having a decent career but not being some hw mayweather no
Finally, he doesn't have the personality. He's a nice guy and his popularity arm is based on him being young and fresh and a mummy's boy. When he's 35 he's just too shy or retiring for me to see him being some Ali or a floyd or even a haye/chisora who punched above their weight oxmmercially cos they have that antagonising trash talking magnetic ims. Joshua doesn't have it. Brands will get bored of him
Anyway, for me fury is the future of the division and we will all forget about aj. I've also heard this next tiger woods thing a million times before including of Lewis Hamilton who whilst he's done well has hardly taken f1 to a new level like they said he wouldComment

LOL no doubt about this. Hearn is already a top ten ATG of gloating. Guy can display gloating with a look. Its damn near a superpower for him.
I'm curious what happens when Joshua's contract is up with Hearn what goes down. Or if Joshua just keeps re-upping with him. I can definitely see some drama there between the two parties if Joshua looks to maximize his own upside. Although with the high upside he's looking at at this point it might be more intelligent to just keep dancing with the girl who you took to the dance vs giving yourself more potential headaches with the promoting side of the equation.Comment

Sh^t man there is supposed to be too much hype for the HW's.
I might even take that bet, but that doesn't really mean he's not sh^t all of a sudden. The division is in a transitional period with the Klitschko era at its end. We got 5 undefeated guys in the top ten that all have some % of the fans thinking they are the guy (Joshua, Wilder, Ortiz, Parker & my mfing man Fury). This is actually a very compelling time in the division with many potential exciting fights that Joshua very well come up short in.Even then, he's what 19-0 but so what. He's had 18 joke opponents. vlad also exposed his weaknesses. In fairness, & I'm a big Floyd fan as a Grand Rapids, MI native myself, was never a big endorsing of products. Floyd got all his money, or nearly all of it, in the ring. Joshua is very likely to make a good percentage of his income in future years from endorsing products & being the face of specific brands vs in the ring. I'd even suggest its possible he could make more money outside the ring then in it. Lets not forget til Floyd got all that Manny money the most highly paid boxer of all time was a guy who made most of his money from selling a f#cking grill. Also how's he gonna get to this tiger woods level exactly? The only boxer to get that rich is floyd and that's through avoiding and frustrating opponents for long enough to back them down into seriously uneven pay days. I call bs on this. The last thing a brand wants is a cat like Adrien Broner or Floyd. You want a guy who isn't saying f#ck in every other sentence or who's not at risk every weekend for getting into some sorta DUI situation or having a sextape released or other nightmare situations athletes tend to find themselves in. A brand wants a guy who is boring outside of his sport I'd contend. I personally got Fury, sh^t together version Fury that is, over Joshua, but Joshua isn't getting forgotten about any time soon after the Klitschko fight. Hearn is too good at his job + Joshua showed too much intelligence & heart to get forgotten about.Anyway, for me fury is the future of the division and we will all forget about aj.
Well the higher you're goal the more likely you fail at your goal that goes without saying. I'd bet against Joshua being some sort of boxing version of Tiger Woods myself, but that doesn't mean its impossible or that he's looking like a guy capable of extremely mainstream success that could reach Tiger Woods type heights or close to it in theory. In theory is much easily to analyze & achieve then the actual trajectory of getting to that goal is. There are a million things that could f#ck up that plan along the way & probably will.I've also heard this next tiger woods thing a million times before including of Lewis Hamilton who whilst he's done well has hardly taken f1 to a new level like they said he wouldComment
