    • I called it.....
I said Joshua will hurt/drop Klitschko, and his inexperience will show and Klitschko will hang his career on one last huge right hand, and it was weather Joshua survived that or not will determine the heavyweight scene for many years to come...

Respect to Klitschko, you have to respect the man, full of class and gave us a fantastic fight.

Joshua, after tonight, I can see nobody beating him for many years to come...although I can still kind of see a fully fit Tyson Fury out foxing him until that matter is put to rest, Joshua reigns.

I really have nothing 2 bad to say about Joshua, I had wlad winning on scorecard, but he/both showed champion hearts.
I'd like to Joshua go down a bit in weight though, too much to be carrying for 12 rounds

I do understand you, best chance of beating AJ is going for the KO... it's there for all to see as we seen today and in the Whyte fight. Very hard to last 12 rounds against that power no matter who you are.

        • Joshua got lucky with that uppercut. Was out on his feet for three rounds, most of 5,6 and 7. Prime Wlad would have finished him for sure. Great fight though. One of the best hw clashes I've seen in twenty years. Up there with Vitali Lewis.

I was worried about the weight, but he carried it well.

Took a while to get his legs back after getting rocked, but he managed it. He looked explosive and carried that power into the championship rounds.

He was a lion in there today. That was championship **** from the kid.
You take a right hand flush and get up. Then you're smart enough to take the necessary rounds off to gather yourself (get his legs right) for a strong finish? He's a great one for sure in my book now.

The barbarians are at the gate and waiting for him now. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. Bring on Wilder, Ortiz, Parker, and Fury. I think he finds a a way to win them all but I'm going to love watching him try.

Definitely needs to keep his head in the fight though. That premature celebrating has almost cost him two fights.

Exactly! I'm born in the US and I'll definitely say that AJ beats bum squad Wilder any day of the week!

                    • Premature stoppage. I get it he vlad got knocked down twice. Not a fan of either fighters btw.
Vlad was defending himself. He was not taking flush punches. Most were blocked and or rolled in the corner when the stoppage was called. It was obvious because they replayed the stoppage over and over in live speed and slow motion.
Overall good fight. Apparently they signed a 2 fight deal. Rather see joshua fight Ortiz.
