im not, just dont see the need for watching a fight when there was a clear winner. can say im race baiting or whatever but i swear pretty much every fighter/poster who said golovkin lost is black

GGG must put in the contract both of us must do VADA testing and must make the second weigh in . When a person refuses testing as Jacobs did i'd say he's juicing special then you look like a cruise weight and GGG looks like a middle weight

So both Golovkin and Jacobs took more than a month off.

I'd like to see the rematch, but Jacobs is behind Canelo, Saunders, and tureano Johnson (another Mando who unfortunately is not exactly super interesting or threatening). I want to see Jacobs shut up Eubanks jr.! That'd be a great summer fight while waiting on Golovkin.

...pretty sure that Johnson's mandatory shot went to Dominic Wade, and that the IBF still needs to call for Johnson vs Derrevyanchenko to determine the next actual mandatory challenger.

With Canelo possibly eyeing a redux from AT&T Stadium, Saunders fighting Khurtsidze in early July, and the IBF mandatory to still be determined, Daniel Jacobs isn't all that far off of an option.

I scored the fight 7-5 for GGG but just out of curiosity what make you believe that Jacobs would do better in the rematch?

Jacobs walks into the rematch knowing that he can more than handle Golovkin's power, eliminating that modicum of fear.

With that out of mind, it then comes down to who's the better fighter (and if Golovkin can handle Jacobs' power if he gets hit dead on); Jacobs is the bigger/longer man, comfortable fighting orthodox or southpaw, and Golovkin still seems largely comfortable only fighting one way (coming forward, throwing his shots from that midrange; Golovkin has issues fighting in close or at long range, and he doesn't look all that comfortable fighting off of the back foot).

5 rounds to Golovkin, 3 rounds to Jacobs, and 4 rounds in the lurch was how the three official judges scored the fight; simply coming to box (rather than face this boogeyman) should be more than enough to get Jacobs two of the lurch rounds for sure in his favor (possibly shifting 1/2 of those Golovkin rounds into the lurch)

It's a business. Jacobs needs Golovkin, not the other way around. If Golovkin doesn't get Alvarez (or Chavez), it seems like the money fight would be Cotto in MSG.
Jacobs needs more name recognition among casual fans, maybe ko a couple of top 10 guys and get some buzz going.

why would Cotto fight Golovkin, especially when he's got his own HBO fight seemingly earmarked to be paired with with Ward-Kovalev II replay June 24th?

You add that Golovkin and his camp have also made it clear that they apparently aren't willing to go down to 154lbs for anyone not Floyd Mayweather Jr, and bringing up Cotto as an option is a waste of time.

If the Alvarez fight falls through (which is likelier than folks want to acknowledge, for many reasons), Golovkin's options are slim
