Why would he have blocked the Khan fight, when at the time, they thought Oscar would negotiate afterwards?

Why would they have blocked the Cotto-Canelo fight, when they had a written agreement from the WBC, they were paid, and they had the opportunity to add the IBF belt whilst they waited?

At the time, it didn't make any sense to try and block either of those fights.

he is picking "healing" over titles at the moment. We dont know what his next move will be. It might be Canelo, or it might be an IBF mando so he doesnt get stripped.

I suspect they will wait the 2 more weeks to see what happens with the Canelo fight, and then decide what path to take. Personally I think this injury pretty much throws a monkey wrench in the unification plans, because of the IBF mando (which is due) and because now Saunders has to fight the Kurdtize guy. The stars were aligned for him to unify with Saunders, but he got ****** up and now thats off the table for the moment. I hope the titles can stay together, but at this moment it looks doubtful.

Anything is possible but I see it as a 50/50 fight. If Canelo knew for certain he could beat him he would have fought him already and took all those straps. But he chose to hand one over to him instead.

It's not 50/50 imo...golovkin was always a hypejob, the fights with brook and Danny just solidified it as a fact. Canelo has more power than brook, and better skill than Danny, his combination punching is also much better, and too fast for golovkin.
