How about you provide some counter examples to add some substance to your case? I ain't saying you ain't on to something - US fans do appear to be less nationalistic (on average) than say, Mexicans or Puerto Ricans or Brits but maybe that's just an error in my own perception. How about some evidence here?
Saying a fighter is going to win is not ROOTING FOR THAT FIGHTER. Learn the difference. Many Manny fans hoped he would win though they thought Floyd was the favorite. They STILL Rooted for Manny and bashed Floyd the entire buildup.

STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTION. Show me the last fight where an American fought a foreign fighter and the majority of users on this site went for/rooted for/cheered for the American to win.

    I'll wait.....

So no, "Americans" are not going to support every American fighter because we're too big a country and have too many different people.
I do. My wife does. My friends do. If an American Fights a non-American, I'll root for the American Each Time.

You can keep waiting mate. I'm not from the US nor even the American continent, and neither are many of the other users of this site. That's why I said it's a bad question. Do you know which posters rooted for whom based on nationality? You don't and neither do I. The only thing we got is the picks people made.

You could make a poll I suppose, and pose the question specifically to US fans but even if you did, so what?

Anyway. I'm done, man. You wanna run with this one that's your business I suppose. Not sure how you're gonna prove your thing or why it matters anyway, but hey, it's your time dude.

why doesy our ******ed ass keep changing the goal posts?

You first ask when was the last time people on here went for the American fighter against a non American. YOu got your answer then you ducked like a ****** and changedi t to "oh yeah, but when you pick the fighter, you gotta like the fighter too"...wtf?

I'm pretty all American posters on here picked Portert o beat Brook, even called it by KO.

              What more do you want?

Make a poll of who likes which American fighters if you just wana know who loves the same fighters you love.

It's a myth. I will say maybe The US boxing fans have higher standars as they have witnessed the best fighters from around the world but the biggest stars in america are the americans (mainly US &Mexico) and to pretend like they pay more attention to foreigners is asinine.

America is in a slump because their fighters dont give a sht about entertainment, and barely know how to win. Jacobs, Thurman, Ward etc guys fight to survive, they won't go after a guy. You want a perfect example of modern US boxing watch lipinets vs rhodes.

Pacquiao had to be just about if not the most exciting fighter of all time to make in America, guys like him are the exception. Americans want american fighters they can support, but most are boring and spiteful.

No he wouldn't, he hasn't done anything. Those guys built their fanbase and Joshua is a gold medalist AND a heavyweight do you really not know what that entails?

Spence would be about as big as Callum Smith minus the promotion under a star like Joshua.

If the amaericans luckily to have the same boxer as exciting and achieved what pacquiao had achieved they will make him the god of boxing i'm 101% sure of it.
