when has Golovkin EVER done anything like that ?

      old achievements > no achievements

that is why I asked whether Golovkin fans should question other fighters resume's?
      WTF??????

He was virtually blanked by Floyd (no disgrace) but Angulo is a crude bar room brawler as is Kirkland and then he went life & death with Lara who, whilst a good boxer, has hardly beaten anybody himself

It's hardly murderer's row and there's a reason why GBP havent let him in with anybody with a pulse lately

when has Golovkin even attempted anything close ?

GGG fans should not be criticizing other fighters resume

he avoided Mora, Ward, Lara..... ran from Cotto..... ran from Canelo twice..... sc****d past Jacobs...... and then mysteriously backed out of the Saunders fight

seriously, why can't you guys keep it real ?

Wut? I'm saying Canelo is scraping by junior middleweights, knocking out junior welterweights while Glolovkin has been squashing middleweights and making them quit. And Jacobs? That's a whole lot more man than Canelo's ever seen in the ring for even one second.

Canelo has some friendly judges. Golovkin rarely needs judges.

Styles make fights, and Canelo's slow azz feet is the wrong style. Let's hope he mixes it up like he thinks he wants to. Yes please. I want to see that. We all do.

The ducking time is over. Canelo's time to man up and get KTFO'd.

              Just for kicks, Golovkin's last 5 opponents > Canelo's last 5 opponents.

Thats only your opinion, cotto alone is better than anything on gggs resume imo, but weird that at 35yo you only want to consider his last 5 fights, canelos resume is better overall than ggg and the ginger still has a long road ahead, cant say the same about ggg...
But anyways the point stills, gggs fans have no leg to stand when talking about others fighters opposition...

Cotto is a name, not a quality of a fighter. He's retiring this year. I'd bet that all of Golovkin's last 5, excluding Wade, would beat this version of Cotto.

And yes, I'm well aware that Golovkin will never win the resume argument in total, since he's a foreigner who is not British or Mexican, and that he had a long amateur career. Sauderland wasting his career in late 20s didn't help him.

The point is that Golovkin is trying, and is succeeding at fighting better competition, with the only thing that's holding him back is opponent's lack of desire to share the ring with him.
Canelo, or rather GBP, could have had Canelo's resume littered with quality names, instead the quality of competition that Canelo is fighting is decreasing if anything.

                  Every boxer's journey is different.

If the fight is made this year, Canelo still looses and looses big time.

Lol, he is got 1 good fight, lets not act like he is been taking a challenge after another...
And by the way almost sure that cotto was ranked higher p4p than anyone on gggs resume... he could lose to jacobs just because jacobs is a mw and cotto is a jmw, but p4p the cotto that fought canelo was ranked higher by most respected analysts... but again canelo has more challenges, not just cotto...
