How long could Jack Johnson have survived?? My guess is Golota would make short work of this bum too
God Bless
To speculate on how Johnson (weighing around 190-200 lbs) would have done against a fighter 100 years later is dumb! Then to go on and call him a bum is a dounright insult to boxing!!! The fact is Jack Johnson was great in his day! Andrew Golota is not in his!!!

He usually weighed around 212, but I see your point.
He did however, fight alot of unskilled and/or undersized opponents.
To answer this question you would have to indicate the time period. Remember Jack Johnson fought in an era where gloves were lighter and fights went on forever. I seriously doubt Golato has the mental fortitude to fight under these conditions. Golato has a history of failing when under pressure. Golato possibly have beaten Johnson fighting with modern boxing rules. It has been reported that Johnson was a good defensive fighter so even with modern rules he might have had the skill to beat Golata.
I can't believe this debate has gone on this long...much less even brought up.
Golota was a bigger man; but mentally weaker. Anytime the pressure was on, Golota imploded. Jack Johnson was a master of head games. Throughout his fights, any footage you can find, he's majorly screwing with his opponenets head...specifically their confidence; waving to Tommy Burns as he went back to his corner after a particularly fruitless round. "See yous latah mistah tommmy." all while flashing that golden smile. Screwing with Jim Corbett, who was in Jeffries corner during his dismantling of the Boiler Maker. Applauding a landed punch by Frank Moran in the middle of the ring.
Johnson would have Andrew Golota breaking down like Oliver McCall in the second Lewis fight....and he'd probably run from the ring shielding his face from camera flashes.
Golota didn't have the mental muscle to best Johnson, much less boxing skill. Least, that's what I think.
