    Brutal. Insightful too.
I'm always skeptical about he said/she said, but I think it's pretty easy to accept what he said about Duva.

nothing "insightful" about it. The first fight contract outlined the parameters of the rematch.

But of course Ward has a history of getting amnesia when it comes to what was agreed in prior contracts, so there has to be all the drama where he either sues someone 3 times (and loses 3 times), or threatens to retire if his "new" conditions arent met.

Whats really amusing though is that since Roc is the lead promoter, Duva has nothing to do with Wards guarantees. Thats between him and Roc......

Kinda makes me wonder what kovalev's people were like when they were the "A side" and what those negotiations were like compared to these. Ward seems to really want to impose that fact on them and the fans. I have to believe some people are easier to work with than others...and ward seems like he would be on the more difficult side.

              Seems like don't mean much.

We've seen Duva drop the ball before with the way she handled the Stevenson situation.

They wanted Ward to come to a press conference less than a week after he'd just fought. Nobody does that. That shows you how difficult they were to work with.

I believe he's a tough negotiatior but he always gets his way and he always gets good fights. If being difficult to work with means a resume like his then more fighters should be difficult to work with instead of easily accepting bums
