Ward sold the last fight and this fight as USA v. Russia, so he doesn't have clean hands to accuse Kovalev of trying to bias people.

So tired of hearing/reading about the sound bites from the press tour for this fight.
Both camps have been incredibly annoying and the fans in this thread only make it worse lol Both guys just keep repeating the same corny trash talk they said for the first fight. Say what you want about Floyd but he can sell a fight and provide a few laughs (either with or at him). Hell even Thurman will give us a little something here and there.
Expect this fight to sell nearly identical numbers in PPV sales b/c both of these guys are boring. It's a shame too. I just want the fight to have a conclusive result this time! June 17th can't come soon enough. Andre "I'm not biting" Ward and Sergey "**** you" Kovalev need some personalities.

only his fans believe what comes out of his dirty mouth. "he never surprised me i've been fighting guys like him my whole life"...being rocked with a jab, outlanded and dropped didn't surprise him...pathetic

Here is the thing guys, true boxing fans love the art of boxing and understand the point system. Albeit, there have been some horrendous scoring lately and there will always be the occasional robbery but for the most part, judges do their best when scoring tactical boxing matches. With that being said, Ward won the first fight simply because he landed the cleaner punches and landed them more frequently. Kovalev did land the big right hand in the second and scored the knock down but after that he didn't do a whole lot after that round to sway the judges in his favor. Yes he did seem like the aggressor but he wasn't landing anything of significance. Just because you chase a guy around the ring doesn't necessarily give you the advantage, what it might indicate is that the aggressor doesn't have the proper footwork to cut the ring off and make the opponent engage in battle. The name of the game is Hit and don't be hit. It's not rocket science people.
