If Floyd was 48-1, which I think he should be (as do most) - because he absolutely, 100% lost the first Castillo fight, and it really wasn't even that close lol. Or maybe 47-2 in his toss-up fights with Pac and Maidana I, then it's literally looked at with an entirely different perspective.

I used to be a critic of Floyd, but I tried to come around some after he retired (supposedly), and give him his props.

But when looking at it like this, it really does put things in perspective.

While definitely a top 3-5 boxer of his era, he's nowhere close to top-5 ATG - I definitely retract that.

its true. he landed the cleaner punches. i can post up 7 rounds in which he did it. also my analysis that floyd was gun shy was because he was not committing ony any of his punches. he wasnt stepping forward with anything. they were almost all arm punches and thats why they were coming up short or barely grazing.

Thats why whenever he had floyd towards the ropes he would back HIMSELF UP again floyd didnt back him up at those points HE BACKED HIMSELF UP! pac was gunshy? thats the way he fights now. sorry to break it to you. did you watch the vargas fight? he doesnt go in there throwing 1000 punches like he did against clottey or marg. hes more tactical since getting ktfo. you are giving floyd credit for something he didnt even do. instead of scoring the fight on clean punches you scored it based on how you thought pac was feeling. that is not how to properly score fights. just look at hte punches liek i did and you will see pac was the one landing cleaner, flusher, and harder why would floyd win because it was low contact and tactical? you still have to do the work and floyd didnt do enough. made it close sure. made it competitive sure. landed the cleaner punches? no.

it was 7-5 pac and i gave floyd a couple of very close rounds. 6 of the roudns pac won were easy pac roudns. (3,4,6,7,8, and 10) he not only landed as many or more punches but he landed the much higher quality punches. only round 9 was pretty close in both lands and quality but pacs punches were slightly harder and slightly better imo. he also made floyd do a weird dance and almost touch the canvas when he hit him with a hook-jab. in a tight round that kind of reaction to a punch is going to cost you. he also landed the best punch of the round. a flush put your whole entire body into it left hand to the face. floyd landed 2 nice rights in the round but they were total arm punches. once again nice but not as hard.



the breakdowns of the rounds are online so you can watch them or you can just say they are biased, missed all of floyds punches, floyds arm punches were amazing etc...
