Ward is not liked because his character not his skin color. And I could give dozens of examples of what a jerk he is, but I don't have the time. Typical strawman argument u r trying to use. I do know that 20 million Russians were murdered by Germany. Just because blacks were treated horribly by American whites does not mean they were the only peoples to ever have been enslaved or experienced prejudice. This claim that African Americans were enslaved across the globe is yet another ignorant statement. If you knew history you would know that slavery was outlawed by many countries decades even centuries before America's Civil War

Where is this coming from Kov does not have a large backing by American whites. Your problem is you keep lumping in Eastern European or even Russian-Asian people with American whites. You are the one judging people based on skin color. I guess any people with a light skin color is just another white guy to you to be compared with southern racist whites. There are hundreds of different cultures and just because some have a whiter skin color does not make them the racist white people you are familiar with. You probably see Iranians as just a bunch of Arabs right?

And the reason people root for GGG is much simpler than some racist motive. Its the same reason people loved Mike Tyson. Casuals love ko artists, no matter what color or what country they are from.

BTW I am not that much of a GGG fan. I think he fought a miserable fight against Jacobs. I also think he is limited and very beatable. I am a Kov fan as he is much more versatile. You see people root for boxers for many reasons not simply because of skin color. To think that way is just lazy thinking, to narrow down everything in boxing to racism.
