And not to mention the dozen low blows that Salido somehow got away with.

Meanwhile Mikey Garcia, in his second career pro fight, was fighting the 0-1 Chad Andrew Gannigan, who finished his esteemed career with a career record of 0-3.

Oh, and this. Through their first nine fights of their pro careers, here are the combined records of their opposition:

    Lomachenko: 267-25-13
    Mikey: 45-104-15

Mikey Garcia fought ONE guy with a winning record in his first nine fights...and that guy, a guy by the name of Gabriel Rangel, had a record of 2-0-1.

    Come on now bruh.
Notice how certain fans choose to count or ignore amateur records when it suits them. Now the 400 amateur fights Loma had don't matter.

Lomachenko was a hugely experienced fighter in his physical prime (26) when he turned pro. Garcia was an 18 year old kid that still had a lot to learn.

The OP doesn't realize the same guy he dedicates his profile to is the same one who had to quit against Salido, at least Lomachenko seen it through and gave us a great fight.
It was a close fight only because Loma was inactive the first half of the fight, it was his first 12 round fight and with Salido a guy who wont stop punching he he might have been pacing himself, even then you could give Lomas the fight. Rematch i dont think Loma will wait, he seems to have energy to fight like that for 12 rounds without gassing.

That's the thing the way I look at it is when a top level amateur fighter turns pro he needs to worry more about the fitness much more than actually the pro fighting style, amateur styles, in my opinion, they can easily translate over to the pro game.

If we take a look at Lomachenko from back then to now with him looking like a proper 12 round type of fighter, he looks so good, but he still has the same skills and is displaying what he did in his first few pro fights, he still fights the same way the only difference is that I've noticed is that he is more willing to throw a lot more.

Salido would get absolutely clowned on in a rematch, hence the lofty demands he was asking for.

Since the word "robbery" is thrown around way too casually these days I would ask for you to refer to the sports illustrated cover stating how blatant sweet pea was robbed in that fight.

Nobody is ignoring amateur records. Obviously Lomachenko came in as prepared, or more so for the pro level than anybody in the history of the fight game. Nobody is dis*****g that. But that said -- this is still professional boxing that we discuss here, no?

Look, if a Mikey fan is gonna clown on Lomachenko for losing the second fight of his pro career, do you not think that it's fair to bring up Mikey's second career pro fight? Or how about his fourth pro fight when he was fighting a dude who had 4 wins in 19 fights? Still too early to talk Mikey's pro career? Okay how about his 7th fight when he fought a 12-21 fighter? Still unfair? What about his ninth fight then when he took on 12-40-4 Reggie Sanders? Or his 12th fight against a 5-7 opponent?

Let me know when it's fair to bring up Mikey's level of opposition.

Some of y'all act like I'm the one who brought the **** up first. I don't have any problem at all with Mikey, or the fact that he took his time moving up the ranks by fighting absolute cans for the first dozen or whatever opponents he faced. A lot of fighters do that ****. I think Mikey's a phenomenal, blue chip fighter. But when a motherf**ker tries to **** on Lomachenko for barely losing a split decision to a former two division world champion with 55 pro fights under his belt and who outweighed Lomachenko by 20 f**king pounds, in his 2nd pro fight, of course I or who the f**k ever is going to bring up Mikey's Brian Sutherland level opposition that he faced for the first third of his professional boxing career.

I guess that is really gonna make Mikey look bad when he quits against Loma.
