To be honest the only prime-ish fighters with stellar resumes right now are Gonzalez and Ward, and they both lost their last fight in my eyes

What a bunch of garbage.
Suddenly you care about amateur fights?
P4P is 100% about resume now? Has it become some sort of a lifetime achievement award? How many current P4P fighters beat another P4P fighter?
Lomachenko is moving through the divisions and suddenly he needs to stay and unify or fight other champions (that have already publicly ducked him?) I thought unification meant nothing and it's all about 'when you gonna move up?'
When you kids don't like someone it's so clear and obvious it's disgusting. Lomachenko can literally say "I love Pizza", and all of tools like you will start screaming "Pizza sucks".

Records are misleading cause a guy may have 35 fights but only 8 or 9 world title fights. Lomachenko has been in nothing but world title fights since his 2nd pro bout. And his first fight was a title eliminator.

Its impressive but its not groundbreaking
he is almost 30, with over 300 amatuer fights
he is a mature fighter and is talented as all hell
he passes the eye test with flying colors but i dont like to get ahead of myself.
He is definitely one of the most talented fighters around, id just like to see him fight another rugged, aggressive top guy...not necessarily p4p but elite from 130-135 before annointing him.
before annointing him p4p, he should at least unify his division or beat a couple of the other titlist....126 had good fighters left, so does 130 before he moves up

would any fighter on the planet stand more than an unlikely chance of beating lomachenko if all fighters were the same size?
there is no better boxer on the planet right now. frankly, with the decline of gonzalez and ward and kovalev starting to get into their mid 30's i don't think there's much of a conversation. lomachenko's just a better fighter right now. he's also getting better. ward has without a doubt slowed down. the alexander brands don't go 12 with lomachenko. if they do they look lost at sea. abraham, bika, rodriguez, these guys were in the fight against ward. lomachenko distances himself from those guys with his speed and power. he's an insurmountably more talented fighter. yes, ward's still sharp and his mind is still intact, but he's been showing signs of decline since he started to ahve long layoffs. kovalev has limitations that lomachenko just doesn't have. the only thing he does better is punch.

i think Kovalev has a p4p worthy resume, Crawford kinda too and both have passed the eye test
GGG, not sure if his resume really measures to Loma..and y'all know i love me some GGG but what's his best win? a decision vs Jacobs?

like golovkin, lomacheko needs to move up to 168 lbs and have his wins discredited before moving to 175 and fighting andre ward when he's in his late 30's and ready to move back to Kazakhstan and retire.

This was a YEAR AGO! HBO is a JOKE but the one guy who is honest on that Network is Roy Jones Jr and he was on the Loma wagon before MOST and I agreed with him then and I agree with him even more now:
But Teddy Atlas was the very first on that Loma wagon long before anybody. He had Loma Top 10 P4P after his Pro Debuteven BEFORE the Russell Jr Fight probably looked crazy back then but he end up being right:

Lomachenko whooped Russell, Martinez, and Walters and looked like one of the very best fighters on the planet while doing so. He shouldn't be #1, but there are not 5 clearly better fighters in the world right now.
