They don't "make" them wear reebok, they sign a bonus deal with reebok which is beneficial to 99% of all UFC fighters. Fighters like Mcgregor or GSP are either getting a helluva lot more (again, something they've signed) or have a different brand like under armour.

For sure its not beneficial to 99% of all UFC fighters. I'd assume its beneficial to less than 50% of fighters in how much they are getting vs how much they could get without the Reebok deal. And net overall for all fighters I'm bet fighters have lost millions of dollars by now due to the Reebok deal.

And of the go getter, sellable type guys its probably 99% not beneficial to 1% beneficial. Brendan Schuab was barely a top 15 HW iirc during his UFC run & he was getting 100k per fight from sponsors which is more than he was making from the UFC for fighting. Meanwhile the max you can get on the Reebok deal now is $40k.

About the only good thing with Reebok is its a legit respectable company that will pay the fighters & there have been many fighters, even well known guys, who've gotten promised money for wearing a patch of some product or service only to get stiffed.
