They are forced to wear Reebok. That's a uniform. You can't make your roofer wear a uniform even if you pay him more.

They can agree on a certain number of fights at a certain price but can Conor perform his services for anyone else? That's one of the main behavior tests. You cannot stop a true independent contractor from offering his services to anyone else. I don't care what contract Conor has with UFC. Contracts don't void U.S. Labor Laws.

I've been an independent contractor most of my life in various fields. Had to remind a couple folks what an independent contractor is. Had to sue one company who refused to recognize my independent status. The IRS is cracking down on that independent contractor scam. It's just a way for companies to avoid paying the cost of doing business

LOL... When some dude, in their bedroom, starts quoting the law like they know what's going on.

I think they'll go 70/30 or 65/35. But the (boxing) talent takes the big cut, because we know what's going to happen here.

Conor's getting about 13% of the cut as is so 20% is a ****ing steal for a UFC fighter. The average take is about 7% according to the guys over on Sherdog.

Even if UFC stiffed him and only gave him 20% of the cut it'ss still easily 50+ million for him once everything is said and done. Better take that life changing boxing lesson if you're him and not complain too much because they don't have to let him do it period.

Hes CLEARLY going broke & this is the easiest way 4 him to do what he does best extort his fanbois & dumb irishman that think McGregor has a chance.
