Anyone who buys this trash is a disgrace to boxing. To buy this fight is to give mayweather free money to beat up a soupcan so he can go blow it on hookers. Hes CLEARLY going broke & this is the easiest way 4 him to do what he does best extort his fanbois & dumb irishman that think McGregor has a chance.

Supply and demand. Economics 101. There's a demand for this fight from the public. Floyd and Conor will supply it.

Conor is probably only getting 20% of the revenue he generates with in UFC now...or something around that number anyway. There is no way the UFC is wanting or more importantly will get 80% of the revenue for "their" side with a boxing match doe. And if they are that greedy with their ask they are following standard American business practices & saying 80% with the intent to agree to a lower numbers during back & forth discussions with Conor's team.

Cuz I mean the last thing the UFC wants to do here is piss off their biggest draw right now even if their old biggest draw (who's got 2 or 3 fights max probably before he's gone again) is coming back this summer. Conor has the ability to take the UFC to court & sue his way out of his contract that many sports lawyers have said aren't binding & if Conor does that it could put the UFC in a clusterf#ck of a situation with all their fighters having a out with their contract if they choose to take it.

So Conor FOR SURE has more leverage here than to take 1/5 of the cut & all this money is found money for the UFC regardless what Conor does after this fight or how things go good or bad with the fight.

Don't be so self righteous, it's boxing match for **** sake. You'd have a decent argument if Mayweather was still an active title holder. But he's not, he's retired and can do what he wants........
