Ward-Kovalev gives me that Roy-Tarver feels for some reason

Ridiculous.

Kov did well clinching the hell out of Ward early on but was shipping clean hard body shots for most of the second half of the fight. He did not like that work at all.

Pretty much this^^ ...it became apparent later into the fight that kovalev was tiring from all the grappling and was less effective in the clinch. Ward took advantage and started getting more shots in. I still think kovalev won...but he needs a better plan to stop ward from getting inside, or it's gonna be a repeat of the first fight minus the knockdown.

seems like Ward won the 1st fight but i cant really see what he can do more in the rematch and Kovalev is just a nasty guy and i see him coming on stronger in the rematch knowing Ward cant hurt him..I think Kovalev might stop Ward this time...

It can cut both ways. Kovalev does have to come on stronger, but Ward is a sharpshooter and he can counter.

Boy oh Boy. You picking Kovalev by KO gives me more confidence in a Kovalev win. As a Kovalev fan and not a Ward fan, a Kovalev KO win is what I am hoping for. So many on here are so certain Ward will win more convincingly in the rematch. I think Kovalev will win but Ward has great skill and I am not that confident in a Kovalev win. You are a real boxing nut and you picking Kovalev makes me more confident he will win. Thanks, Larry.

Not sure what Kovalev you have been watching man..But Kovalev has a nice variety of punches and manages distance very well

He'll be the same before and after the 2nd Ward fight...watch.
