This is more likely than Uncle Larry's prediction.

If there's one thing both sides of this ridiculous argument agree on it's that Ward was completely and utterly negated on the inside. Kov took the best aspect of Ward's game and upped him.

The rounds Ward won was by leaping in with shots, namely the left hook (his right hand was absolute rubbish).

If Ward tries for that inside game, it's gonna turn into a much worse night for him...even though you may be right and the judges will probably give him rounds for simply standing up lol
        Ridiculous.

Kov did well clinching the hell out of Ward early on but was shipping clean hard body shots for most of the second half of the fight. He did not like that work at all.

With a fighter who hits as hard and as is dangerously sharp early as Kovalev, you always have to keep an early KO in mind. There's a reason he has so many.

Ward worked so hard just to squeak enough rounds to make his case for winning, so I totally understand why some struggle to understand what he'll do differently. I'm sure he will find something, but so will Kovalev.

I can't wait for this fight.

sure to you and some delusional fanboys. everyone else went at the decision. why even watch the 2nd fight? its going to "seem like" ward won that one as well no matter what happens. guy gets outlanded and other guy lands the much cleaner harder shots and it seems like your guy won lmao. he can never lose in your mind.

Frankly, I can only see Kovalev trying to improving his inside game..
I have a feeling Ward adjusts better and wins this time..

I don't see the similarities. Jones got sparked out so early we didn't get a chance to see how that fight would play out. Kovalev will have to be a lot more aggressive to get rid of Ward. If he can't, the fight will end up the same way

Ward hasn't ruined himself weight-wise like Roy did. Roy was never the same after moving back down to 175. However, Kovalev has the power to stop Ward but Ward doesn't have the power to stop Kovalev.

My feeling is Kovalev will go for the KO aggressively this time. If he doesnt get it by the 5-6 round Ward will out point him provided he isnt beat up badly by the early onslaught.
