He does more than one thing unlike kovalev...Ward uses defense, jab, body shots, left hook....kovalev just uses a range finder in his jab and shoots the right hand, that's it. Oh, and kovalev holds and headlocks....

Ward has no right hand, was inferior on the outside, had no answer for Kovalev's jab. Kov also has an underrated uppercut and body punches.

Apparently Kovalev had a hard time hurting Ward also. Him being more aggressive will only get him gassed faster.

I agree more or less with that viewpoint. I feel Kovalev has more opportunities to win. I think that Ward can only win the way he did last time. By barely edging out rounds. Kovalev had more dominant moments that Ward did in their first fight. That said I think Kovalev is coming out to make a statement with the way he's been acting lately.
I know Ward is a better fighter than Pascal/Boone but in the rematches that Kovalev has had, he has been far more dominant in the second match.

Ward wasn't near his groove for the first 3 rounds of the fight; once he hit his groove, figured out the spacing, and realized that Kovalev wanted no part of his inside game, Ward took over.

After having already taken Kovalev's biggest shot (getting nailed flush, in the second round no less, made ot pretty clear that Kovalev was still fresh) and not having it move him off of his plan, Andre Ward walks into the fight ready to make the same adjustments in the first round that he made in the third/fourth of the first fight.

Kovalev gassed and gassed hard; I don't see Kovalev having changed the habits in his life enough to not have the same thing play out in the rematch.
