No but spoken like a true fan boy
He laid the blue print for least risk highest reward. Young Floyd was a beast no one can doubt that Floyd post Oscar was totally different
The thing is Floyd is the master villain

Cotto is just fighting out this contract with Roc Nation, hell rematch Trout! A fight with Lara would have been sweet too. Shame Cotto beat a disabled Martinez, a sickly weight drained Geale then got schooled by Canelo. He has been shot for years. He last decent performance was a loss to Floyd. HOF fighter well past it.

Well, Can't say that i'm excited, but it will be about 2 years when the fight actually happens. Kamegai is 5'9 with a 71" reach, 24 knockouts in 27 wins and Guerrero hasn't been the same since fighting him. If nothing else the fight will be exciting while it lasts. Hopefully Cotto vs. Bradley is after but I can't see Arum getting out of the way.

You're right dude, Arum and his in-house fights. I heard he said he couldn't make the Cotto fight with Bradley because of weight issues and money issues. Arum is full of it. But he did say he wants to set up Bradley vs Vargas 2. Of course, all he does is set up his own fighters to fight each other so he keeps all the money. SMH

According to this article I linked down below in this post it seems like Cotto-Kamegai is a done deal.
It mentions that the other Japanese fighter Yuki Nonaka is out of the picture. And good because besides being unknown, that guys record is atrocious at 31-8-3-10 ko's. Compared to Yoshihiro Kamegai who is known in the states and has a way better record at 27-3-2-24 ko's. Brandon Rios has a fight scheduled for April 29th apparently, so it looks like it's going to be Cotto-Kamegai

                  Here's the article:

well kneeguel screwed arum out of the fight with canelo and turned his back on Top Rank. of course arum is going to hold a grudge against cotto just saying. plus cotto doesn't want to fight bradley that's too risky he wants an easy fight.

Well at least with Cotto fighting Kamegai, it should be an action fight. Also, he's not as washed up as Rios or old as Marquez or as small as Bradley. Kamegai is more of an offense-minded fighter who comes forward. Plus HBO can use the KO footage from Kamegai's last fight where he KOed Soto Karass.
