Castillo beat Floyd, arguably Maidana, Oscar and Manny beat Floyd too. Chavez is 3 times better than all Castillo, so yeah beat Floyd, probably knock him out. Floyd wouldnt be able to pay off judges and have the PED advantage vs Chavez.

Nothing like emotional and weak minded cats, who can't take some opinionated criticism.
OK cool cat, you just keep on thinking that. No one could beat you're buddy chavez. Nostalgia has the best of you.

Lmao!!!! Look at his piece of **** son moron. Talk about paid off judges and PEDs, and don't forget all the weed. Look at old chavez since that fuggin skin is stretched like a drum over his face, all that money and you'd think he could find a better plastic surgeon.

Jcc is probably the most overrated fighter in the history of the sport.....he fought bum after bum. Floyd after less than half the fights has a better resume. Floyd is a much better fighter too.

And to answer your question, yes Floyd is (or was) that good. Chavez Sr is regarded as an ATG and by many as the best Mexican fighter ever so it's hardly insulting to Floyd to compare them
I saw a Bruce Lee vs Mayweather thread a few weeks ago

                  ....and nobody beat chavez @ 130, 135, & 140...if you don't respect that, i do...

...and floyd beating all those paper champs in this era has you in the matrix, has you to believe floyd would just whitewash fellow all-time greats like he's fighting corrales or hatton or a faded oscar...it would be floyd fighting augustus, but 10x worse...

...taylor, camacho, roger, there was tons of cats who outboxed chavez, who had all the tools to beat prime chavez but for some reason they didn't...even floyd's uncle roger, who keeps it realer than real deal holyfield, wouldn't just come out and say floyd would whoop chavez's azz, most other cats roger would say floyd whoops him easy...hell roger was doing a real good job outboxing chavez in that rematch, and chavez made him quit on his stool in the 12th round...chavez took cats souls man do some homework...

at 140 and above post Taylor, I'd favor Floyd to do just enough and eek out a close decision. I'm not a Chavez fan, but that wasn't the best of Chavez. Chavez at 135 and early 140 days would just be too hard a style for Floyd to take 7 rounds off. Chavez was a master at cutting off the ring, relentless (but skillful) pressure and he'd take Floyd to places he's not comfortable. Chavez clear UD 116-112 or 115-113.

I'm not into the whole "he lost to Castillo so he can't beat Chavez", because well Chavez struggled with Lockridge and LaPorte at 130 and Castillo was a damn good fighter. I'm just assuming both guys are at their best and looking at the styles. If I do that it's clear Chavez wins. Mayweather fought NOBODY like Chavez (and vice-versa in his prime to be fair).
