Team Golovkin doesnt seem to have the canelo fight as the top priority anymore. He did turn down a 15 mio offer and doesnt hold the right cards in the negotiations with him having low ppv numbers.

But from his position, GB delayed the fight several times already and he has no gurantee that the fight will go through on september, if he holds still and there is no guarantee that Canelo wont get beaten by Chavez Jr. or injured in the fight.

If he takes the Saunders fight he gets two wishes fullfilled: 1) fighting in kazachstan 2) unifying all belts.
The Golovkin Vs Canelo fight will still be on the horizon after all this. We waited years for Pacquiao Vs Mayweather, so I am used to this ****.

I don't know what the phuk goes on in that shyt country but Loeffler out his own mouth said there is some specific event on that June date that they had to meet that was the excuse just 2 weeks ago why they needed a fast turn around and couldn't fight any other date. If the June date is no different then July 17 that's on loeffler. But loeffler and GGG camp said day 1 this fight would NOT impact him being able to fight in sept. Is that true now yes or no?

the June date was the date that would reasonably allow GGG to fight again in Sept. Perhaps the event organizers couldnt make that date work, and perhaps GGG wisely decided that based on the events of the past 18 months, counting on Canelo getting in the ring with him in September was a fools errand. And if he waits until May to see how Canelo-Chavez plays out, then when Oscar trots out excuse #34 as to why the fight cant happen in sept, then its too late to make a June or July fight for GGG.

Schaefer (who hates Oscar by the way) said it perfectly if GGG just wants to fight Saunders then just come out and say that. But it's becoming clearer and clearer if he takes this fight he doesn't want to fight canelo in sept. And it won't be because of canelo if he signs another fight BEFORE Chavez fight that completely takes him out if the running for a sept fight. Yes or no does this fight interfere with Sept date? That was the only reason they were taking it according to Loeffler. So did he deliver? Who is the one who lied if that's not the case. And if June is out the window and it's so easy to move date from June to July then why not try to make canelo fight and if it falls apart move Saunders date from July to aug since you say this BS expo goes until Sept? Answer those questions please.

I'm so glad they got Hearn, Eubank, and Brook to play along with their little scheme. It was a grand conspiracy on behalf of all of them to get GGG on with Brook, while making Eubank Jr the scapegoat
